14 Week Courses and Bachelor of Science in Digital Economy (BSc)
Bachelor of Science in Digital Economy are instructed by academic and industry experts, & and our online learning platform provides access to digital resources & and tutorial classes, enabling flexible self-paced studying from anywhere and at any time.
The programme is for those who wish to pursue their study in multi-disciplinary areas (as foundation or major core) which merges across four different disciplines; 1) Business & Management; 2) Entrepreneurship; 3) Digital Technology; and 4) Financial Literacy. Specialisation areas (as major option) will provide a more focused options for students to choose from (i.e. either the Multi-disciplinary areas; Business & Management; Entrepreneurship; Digital Technology and Financial literacy; or Creative Industries; Tourism, Hospitality and Environment. The BSc. Digital Economy programme will adopt a blended learning approach based on a negotiated learning programme structure. This would follow GenNEXT degree programme rules and regulation with Discovery year. During the Discovery year, students will have to choose one of the four options in Discovery Year programmes available overseas or in Brunei to enhance and broaden their horizon.

Entry Requirements
To enroll in this programme, applicants must satisfy the following entry requirements:
‘A’ level Qualification
- A minimum of 160 ‘A’ Level points for two ‘A’ Level passes; or 200 points for 3 ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects.
- A minimum of credit 6 at GCE ‘O’ Level Mathematics.
Higher National Diploma (HND)/Advanced Diploma (Adv Dip) Qualification
- Any relevant HND or equivalent qualifications from institutions recognised by Senate.
- First year of Bachelor degree from institutions recognised by Senate would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Any statistics or mathematics course passed with Merit and above at HND level/Adv Dip can be considered in lieu of the GCE ‘O’ Level Mathematics for those who have only acquired Pass (D7 or E8).
Applicants with International Baccalaureate (IB)Qualification (IB Diploma OR IB Certificate)
- IB points of at least 24 points or more with a minimum 5 points each, in at least two relevant subjects (including mathematics) taken at high level, or 5,5,4 for 3 relevant subjects (including mathematics) taken at high level.
UNIBRIDGE Qualification (UBD)
- Applicants must have passed 3 core modules and 1 option module in relevant subjects taken during Unibridge year.
Mature Applicants
- At least 25 years of age on the day of admission to the degree programme;
- Taken the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination or equivalent examination; or normally has taken the GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent examination and in subjects (passed) which is relevant to the degree programme to which admission is sought;
- At least 5 years of working experience in related fields.
General Requirements
- An applicant must acquire at least a credit in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level or a grade ‘C’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) OR an IELTS score of 6.0 or better OR TOEFL minimum overall score of 550 OR a pass of UBD English Proficiency Test.

- 4 MCs module — B$ 500.00 per module
- 2 MCs module — B$ 250.00 per module

Graduation Requirements
A minimal total of 140 modular credits (MC) are required for the Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Digital Economy programme. A total minimum of 84 MCs from the major core (68 MCs) and compulsory breadth modules (16 MCs) and the minimum requirement of 24 MCs for major option including 32 MCs of discovery year must be completed.
