The program is available every January and August offering flexibility to aspiring scholars ready to embark on a transformative educational experience.
Entry Requirements
To enrol in this programme, applicants must satisfy the following entry requirement:
• The minimum entry requirement for PhD programmes is normally a relevant Master’s degree or a First Class Honours Degree or its equivalent from an institution recognised by the University Senate.
• A minimum of 10 years life experience relevant to their proposed area of research. Applicants may be required to undergo an interview covering the pre-requisite management and delivery knowledge, attitudes, ethics and other critical skills needed for the Programme on a case by case basis.
Programme Duration
Full Time: 24 months – 60 months
Part Time: 24 months – 84 months

A lifelong learning approach to applied advance research that is typically interdisciplinary in nature. The areas may include: lifelong learning and innovation, Islam and learning, lifelong and inclusive learning policy and practice, transitions from learning to working, the academic workplace, and adult education.
