The UBD Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) is a hub of educational and professional development opportunities located at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. We are committed to empowering lifelong learners by providing a variety of programs and micro-credentials aimed at academic and professional success. Our expert faculty and state-of-the-art facilities support a diverse range of clientele — from individuals with no formal degree seeking to upskill, to professionals looking to reskill or make career changes. We also cater to those who are in the third age or retired, as well as individuals who are driven by the sheer joy of learning. Through a blend of flexible learning options, we aspire to become a leading centre for continuing education and lifelong learning initiatives in Brunei and beyond. Our programs are designed with modular credits (MC), providing a flexible pathway for learners to achieve their personal and professional goals.

1. Open-Access Micro-Credentials: Our micro-credentials are uniquely designed to be accessible to anyone 18 years and older, regardless of prior educational background. This offers a hassle-free entry point for individuals seeking to acquire new skills or build upon existing ones.
2. Stackable Learning Pathways: Offering a variety of programs like Micro-Bachelor, Bachelor, Micro-Master, and Master, our micro-credentials can be strategically stacked to meet the requirements of these comprehensive programs. This modular approach provides learners with a customizable and incremental path to achieving their academic and career aspirations.
3. Certification of Skill Mastery: Upon the successful completion of each module or micro-credential, students are awarded a certificate that serves as tangible proof of their newly acquired skills and knowledge. These certificates not only validate your achievements but also enhance your professional portfolio.
4. Flexible Payment Options for Students: To ease the financial commitment, we offer a convenient installment payment plan for students. With an initial 50% fee required at the start of the course and the remaining balance due midway through, we aim to make quality education financially accessible for all.
